We've talked about system extensions for a number of years now, and we hope that developers you work with have already made the transition away from kernel extensions. For more information, watch the WWDC21 session "Manage devices with Apple Configurator." Now let's turn to improvements for ongoing management tasks. This requires administrator credentials and will also remove the Mac from Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager. Like on iOS, there's a 30-day provisional period where a user can opt out of the Automated Device Enrollment by removing the MDM profile from the Profiles pane in System Preferences. You simply bring Apple Configurator for iPhone close to the Mac while it's in the Setup Assistant to start the process. Using Apple Configurator for iPhone requires Mac computers with the Apple T2 security chip or Apple silicon running macOS Monterey and an administrator or Device Enrollment Manager user to log in. Apple Configurator for iPhone makes it easy to assign any supported Mac running macOS Monterey to your organization's Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager, allowing you to take advantage of all of the great device management features that Automated Device Enrollment enables. We know that some devices may be purchased or donated from outside of the normal channels that support Automated Device Enrollment and for these scenarios, we're introducing Apple Configurator for iPhone which will be available on the App Store. Automated Device Enrollment is designed for devices owned by the organization and works best with devices purchased directly from Apple or from participating Apple Authorized Resellers or carriers. Automated Device Enrollment lets organizations configure and manage devices from the moment the devices are removed from the box and enables you to use all available MDM functionality, including marking the MDM profile as nonremovable. Let's get started with initial enrollment. There are improvements in macOS Monterey throughout all aspects of the deployment life cycle, from initial enrollment, to deployment and ongoing management, and return to service. We'll recap some of the key points from these sessions, but we'll also share updates we've made since these sessions based on your feedback. And at WWDC21, we had a lot of sessions for you, covering a wide range of topics relevant to deployment and management of macOS. In deploying macOS Big Sur, we covered changes to deployment and management for Mac computers with Apple silicon and went deep into deployment workflows with a focus on the macOS Installer. And there are a number of platform changes, new management features, and lots of deployment workflow improvements for IT as well. MacOS Monterey brings powerful features designed to allow you to connect, share, and create like never before, get things done faster, and work seamlessly across Apple devices. I'm really excited to help you prepare your organization for macOS Monterey. But output on my system where I reinstalled the command line tools isn't.Mike Boylan: Hi, my name is Mike Boylan, and I'm a senior consulting engineer in Apple's Worldwide Field Engineering team focused on macOS deployment and management. When iPhone is locked with a passcode, entries in the Journal app are encrypted. Journal is built with privacy at its core. “We have integrated the Journaling Suggestions API into the Day One app to give our users an even richer experience that puts privacy at the forefront, and we can’t wait for them to try it.” “The Journal app is an exciting development for us because it introduces the benefits of digital journaling to a wider audience and ushers in a new chapter for the practice,” said Paul Mayne, founder of the journaling app Day One. In addition, developers can use the new Journaling Suggestions API to add personalized journaling suggestions to their apps, prompting users with moments to write about in a privacy-preserving way, so more people can benefit from journaling and the personalized, secure experience only iPhone can deliver. Users control the type of content that appears in Suggestions and can create a journal entry with the Suggestions they choose. Suggestions based on user activity include writing prompts to empower meaningful insights, and daily reflection prompts help users focus on gratitude, kindness, purpose, and more. Intelligently curated personalized suggestions are designed to help users remember and write about a moment - like new places they’ve visited, photos they’ve taken, songs they’ve played, workouts they’ve completed, and more. Personalized Suggestions and Reflection Prompts Scheduled notifications can help make journaling a consistent practice. Users can browse past entries, bookmark them, or filter for details like photos, workouts, places, and more. It’s just as easy to add content like a news article, music, or a podcast from other apps by bringing it into the Journal app and writing about it. With Journal, it’s easy to get started by logging a simple text entry, or adding rich details like photos, videos, locations, or audio recordings to add more context. And we’re making it possible for other journaling apps to offer the same personalized suggestions while maintaining the highest level of privacy.” “Journal makes it easy to preserve rich and powerful memories, and practice gratitude by intelligently curating information that is personal to the user, right from their iPhone. “We are excited to bring the benefits of journaling to more people,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. Journal and the Journaling Suggestions API are available with the release of iOS 17.2. With the new Journaling Suggestions API, third-party journaling apps can also suggest moments for users to write about. On-device machine learning provides private, personalized suggestions to inspire journal entries, and customizable notifications help users develop their writing habits. With Journal, users can capture and write about everyday moments and special events in their lives, and include photos, videos, audio recordings, locations, and more to create rich memories. Journal, a new iPhone app available today, helps users reflect and practice gratitude through journaling, which has been shown to improve wellbeing. This is normal and will only happen the first time.Apple launches Journal, a new app to reflect on everyday moments and life’s special events When you first run Jalview from the Applications folder macOS will ask you to verify that you want to launch Jalview. After that you should eject the disk image by right clicking on the Jalview Installer window and selecting Eject “Jalview Installer”. This will only take a few seconds to copy. You should then drag the Jalview icon onto the Applications folder icon and let go to make a copy of Jalview in your own macOS Applications folder. This can be opened by finding it in the folder it was downloaded to and double-clicking on the DMG file. The Jalview installer for macOS is a typical macOS Disk Image. If in doubt, the X64 installer should work, but there’s no harm in trying the Aarch64 installer first if you’re not sure! You can check which models of mac use, and how to check if your mac uses, Apple Silicon at this Apple help page. Older Intel machines will not run AArch64 so must use the X64 installer. Whilst the newer Apple Silicon machines will run a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) compiled for X64, you will get better performance with a JVM compiled for AArch64. Older macs use Intel or X64 based processors.įrom Jalview 2.11.3.0 onwards we will offer downloads for both platforms. These are based on AArch64 or ARM64 processors. Newer macs use an architecture often referred to as Apple Silicon or as their model M1 (or M2 etc). The format of the gameplay in Modern Combat: Domination is quite simple, it is basically no different from the gameplay in similar games. Therefore, from level to level it becomes more and more, and its quality also increases. However, for the completed mission, the character receives not only experience points, but also money with which he can purchase a new, improved weapon. The player will be asked to complete a number of tasks, for which, according to the results, he will be awarded special points, which are reflected in the rating. This game has several different game modes including Team Deathmatch, Extraction, Escort, Domination and others.Įach of these modes has its own characteristics. This weapon is weaker than the amatsurang, but it is able to KO monsters and deals slightly more elemental damage (Raw=138, Element=26, 0% Affinity, Blue Sharpness, Impact => 165.6 Raw & 27.56 Element). Runners-up this time would probably be Hyper Zamtrios or Kushala.į Cursed Cloud - If you want to deal serious damage to hydrophobic monsters, then the amatsurang is right for you (Raw=175, Element=22, -10% Affinity, Blue Sharpness, Cutting => 204.07 Raw & 23.32 Element).į Nibel Blammer R - The Deadeye killer. MCM is intriguingly similar to a Bayesian multiscale model of memory (Kording, Tenenbaum, Shadmehr, 2007), yet MCM is better able to account for human declarative memory.Bahrick, H. MCM can be cast either as a neural network with inputs that fluctuate over time, or as a cascade of leaky integrators. MCM can determine study schedules that maximize the durability of learning, and has implications for education and training. On the surface, these models are unrelated and incompatible, but we show they share a core feature that allows them to be integrated. MCM is a synthesis of two existing memory models (Staddon, Chelaru, & Higa, 2002 Raaijmakers, 2003). MCMs prediction is based on empirical data characterizing forgetting of the material following a single study session. We introduce a Multiscale Context Model (MCM) that is able to predict the influence of a particular study schedule on retention for specific material. Appropriate spacing of study can double retention on educationally relevant time scales. Behavioral experiments have shown a nonmonotonic relationship between spacing and retention: short or long intervals between study sessions yield lower cued-recall accuracy than intermediate intervals. When individuals learn facts (e.g., foreign language vocabulary) over multiple study sessions, the temporal spacing of study has a significant impact on memory retention.
